Ajoite in Quartz (classic material)

Item Description

This is a superb thumbnail specimen of ajoite-included quartz from South Africa, likely originating from the most famous and original finds of the late 1980s. While most specimens from this era were milky or translucent, only a very limited number of fine crystals of this quality were discovered. The quartz is water-clear, with both terminations displaying turquoise-blue ajoite puffballs and needles. These inclusions beautifully delineate a phantom just below the surface, creating an aesthetic that is truly exceptional. Unlike many others that have been polished over time, this specimen remains unpolished, preserving its natural beauty.
