Aguilarite is a rare Ag-Se sulfosalt, a member of the Acanthite Group, with easily the world's finest specimens coming from the historic silver mines at Guanajuato. This is a world-class thumbnail with super form, sharp hoppered crystals and bright metallic luster. The dusting of golden chalcopyrite adds pizzazz. The piece has a fine provenance, having been in the collection of Dr. Fred Pough, well-known American mineralogist, curator and author (info is on the box it comes in). Valued at least $1000 ??
