Item Description

A really cool and eye-catching specimen of Agate replacing botryoidal Coral from Tampa Bay in Florida. I have seen this material categorized as being fossilized, but in mineral terms, this would certainly qualify as a pseudomorph. The piece has a beautiful mix of dark blue and "cream" colors when viewed in reflected light, but when backlit, the piece is actually gemmy! showing a lovely golden hue. The piece has been polished to give it a wonderful shine, which helps show off its wonderful form. Great to view from all sides, and one of the very few pieces of the material that I have seen.
