Agate with Dendrites

Item Description

This is a beautiful agate slice with an unusually centered and space-filling cluster of radiating, tree-like dendrites within. This material is justifiably famous in the agate and jewelry world, as you can see online, with small pieces readily available. Specimens that are complete with a rind all around, in this size, and with such quality inclusions, are rare. This piece is particularly beautiful as the color of the dendrites is framed by the matching color at the edges of the piece. It came directly from the major worldwide source of the top end of this material. Narmada agate dendrite in the jewelry and gem world actually refers to a specific type of dendritic agate sourced from the specific deposits bordering the Narmada River in India.
