Item Description
A sculptural and very interesting sawed and polished tapered agate geode from Minas Gerais. White opaque chalcedony lines the floor of the striking vug with a botryoidal wall. Highly lustrous, transparent to translucent gray chalcedony accented with interesting black chalcedony blebs surrounds the vug. The outer rind adds character and color. 9 5-mm slices of smaller size could easily be cut from this artistic Brazilian geode from an East Coast collection.
