Afghanite and lazurite combination specimens (with both on the same piece) are rare from the famous deposits of the Koksha Valley, the Type Locality for both species. A 1.7 cm, sharply terminated, hexagonal, cornflower-blue afghanite is aesthetically set in marble next to blocky, dark blue lazurite. Fine and rare quality combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this at $350, five or more years ago.
