Afghanite is only known from a few localities around the world, and most popularly from Afghanistan. The material from Afghainstan forms in the same area where the famous Lazurite is mined. Afghanite is found in blue and white crystals, and this stone is a very good example of said material as the stone shows a gorgeous gemmy blue color! You don't see much Afghanite stones on the market, and considering there is only one major locality for the material in the world, you won't see this material forever. This stone has an "Oval Cabochon" cut
