Some of the world's finest Aegirine crystals are found at Mount Malosa. This particular piece features good quality, sharp, highly lustrous, deep greenish-black prismatic crystals of Aegirine measuring up to 2.2 cm aesthetically set atop fine quality, porcelain-esque, sharp, rather lustrous, blocky feldpsar crystals with minor Smoky Quartz. The Aegirine crystals from this locality are among the finest in the world for the species. The best of these crystals don't get the credit they deserve for as fine as they are.
