Aegirine on Feldspar

Item Description

Some of the world's finest Aegirine crystals are found at Mount Malosa. This particular piece features fine, sharp, lustrous, deep greenish-black, thick, prismatic crystals of Aegirine sitting atop cream colored Fedlspar. For a Pyroxene, these are good quality crystals, and not the thin needles that is typical for the material, but much more broad and even aesthetically sitting on matrix. It's not 100% perfect, as you can see some minor roughness, but it's still showy and great quality for the species.
