When it comes to crystallized Aegirine, I think it's safe to say that the world's finest crystals are found at Mount Malosa in Malawi. This particular piece is a wonderful full-sized thumbnail featuring thick, fine quality, sharp, highly lustrous, deep greenish-black prismatic crystals of Aegirine, free of matrix It's in good shape overall and very good quality for what it is. For a Pyroxene, these are notably sharp and well-formed crystals. From the collection of Shields Flynn.
