Aegirine, Zircon and Quartz

Item Description

An excellent and showy combination specimen from Mount Malosa. A striking, 4.5 cm, splendent, black aegirine monolith with green highlights stands proudly above the cluster of smaller aegirines at its base. The matrix includes many glassy quartz crystals and some feldspar. One side of the tower and specimen are preferentially sprinkled with sharp, light brown, zircon crystals to 2 mm. The aesthetics are outstanding on all four sides of this fine piece.
