Aegirite is an old-time synonym for aegirine. This sharp, moderately lustrous, doubly terminated, black crystal is from the Type Locality area in Norway - Langesundsfjorden. The blocky crystal has a nifty, complex termination and the little sidecar crystal adds pazzazz. This is a PRISTINE, FLOATER crystal. This is contacting, but no damage, per se. CLASSIC, OLD-TIME material from the John Ydren Collection.
