An extremely fine and aesthetic small cabinet aegirine combination from Mount Malosa. An impressive, large, 7.0 x 3.2 x 2.7 cm, lustrous, jet-black aegirine crystal is jauntily set on a mounded cluster of sharp, lustrous, off-white feldspar crystals. The back of this 3-sided piece is dramatically accented with very glassy, variably-hued, smoky quartz crystals, to 4.7 cm. The striking multiple terminations to the large crystal really adds pizzazz and interest to the piece. The large crystal is complete all-around and very nearly pristine, with only trivial termination bruising and one small spot of side wear. The periphery wear on the right side can be strongly minimized by the proper display view. Very choice combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued at $1000-1250.
