Item Description
Old-time adularia with stilbite specimens from St Gotthard, Uri are very rare and are seldom available. A showy, intergrown cluster of blocky, glassy, translucent to transparent, adularia crystals to 5.4 cm have preferential faces richly dusted with tiny, snow-white, stilbite blades. The two primary crystals are pristine. This excellent piece has multiple fine display views, where the two contacted faces are totally out-of-sight. An old, 18th or 19th century label is attached to the piece. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
