Item Description

Classic combination material from this famous Guanajuato silver mine, where it was first described. A fine large plate of sharp edged, platy, pearlescent, ivory-white K-feldspar variety Adularia variety Valencianite crystals, to 2.8 cm, dramatically covers the mounded plate. Preferential clusters of glassy quartz points are richly scattered about, adding pizzazz, as does the 3.3 cm cluster of larger quartz points along one edge. Classic and excellent older material from this famous mine. Now rare on the market, these were found in the 1980s.
