Item Description
A rare and showy specimen from this "Alpine-type" locality. This very strange glassy, flattened, stepped-growth K-feldspar variety adularia crystal has a faden line running down the middle. It is a complete, very gemmy, light pastel-green crystal (chlorite inclusions) and has a lot of appeal for the sharp crystal habit, even aside from the internal faden line. There are even a few green needles of actinolite variety byssolite included in the crystal. It looks like a flattened Pakistan quartz with a faden, but it's not. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
