Item Description

A lovely thumbnail specimen of the highly sought after emerald green Cuprian Adamites from Tsumeb. This is some of the most beautiful Adamite in the world as the copper content has created such a strong green hue, which is not common for the species, but well known from this most classic of localities. This classic piece is was mined in the 1960s featuring textbook, orthorhombic crystals with excellent luster and color. The luster is fine for the species as well, and with crystals measuring up to a few mm, though this is not a micro specimen. The fact that the crystals are on matrix makes it even better. A great opportunity to purchase an eye-catching miniature of this beloved material. With the price of Tsumeb specimens rising daily, this is a great opportunity to snag a classic specimen from what is considered by most people to be the most prolific mineral locality in the world.
