Item Description
This stunning miniature consists of an Adamite cluster perched right at the top of this aesthetic piece. Over a dozen golden-yellow, transparent and lustrous Adamite crystals, one measuring 1.5 cm in length, are displayed prominently in a cluster at the pinnacle of this sliver of matrix that is heavily sprinkled with 2 to 3 mm, whitish Smithsonite crystals and 1 to 2 mm yellow-orange Tsumcorite crystals. Adamite is not common at Tsumeb, especially not in 1.5 cm crystals. Tsumcorite is a very rare lead-zinc arsenate and Tsumeb is the type locality for the species. Ex.
