Item Description

A cool and rarely seen Adamite specimen from China! If the piece didn't come directly to me from a Chinese dealer, I would almost have to say it was from Mexico, but these specimens are legit, and certainly reminiscent of the classic specimens from the Ojuela Mine. The piece features several VERY gemmy, soft yellow color crystal aggregates with great "wet" vitreous luster sitting on reddish-brown Limonite/gossan matrix. Certainly one of the very few specimens of this material that I have seen, and would make a great addition to any Adamite collection, or a collection of secondary ore minerals. The largest crystal aggregate measures 1.8 cm across.
