A sparkling small cabinet piece featuring two hemispherical rosettes of apple-green adamite, perched nicely and separated on sparkly matrix. They are REALLY sparkly, as if made of apple-green flavored sugar gumdrops, squished down on white sugar matrix. Formerly in the private collection of Greek minerals of Wolli and Karin Wendel, sold off approximately ten years ago to another dealer who shall remain nameless. Most people put reasonable values on these fine Greek minerals, even when as excellent as this - but the prices assigned at that time and to these pieces were honestly simply astounding (as you can see here, what somebody once paid). A rarity for the locality and worth a good value, but adjusted for reality perhaps closer to $1000-ish.
