Item Description

This mine is very well known for it's Adamite specimens, but it is the highly sought after Manganoan variety of Adamite found here that makes it such a significant locality. This piece features several, sharp, lustrous, translucent white crystals of Adamite with pinkish-purple tips sitting on Limonite matrix. We've photographed some of the crystals under UV light to help show the great fluorescence. The largest crystal measures 0.8 cm. To my understanding, there was only one significant find of this material at Ojuela, and they are by far the most prized of all Adamite varieties found here.
