Item Description
This mine is very well known for it's Adamite specimens, but it is the highly sought after Manganoan variety of Adamite found here that makes it such a significant locality. This piece features a pair of sharp, lustrous, gemmy, silvery crystals of Adamite which grade into a purple/maroon hue at the tips. The crystals are contacted on the terminations, but they're bigger crystals for the locality and one of them is certainly gemmy enough to yield a good sized gemstone! To my understanding, there was only one significant find of this material at Ojuela, and they are by far the most prized of all Adamite varieties found here.
