Adamite (Halpern Coll.) with strong Fluorescence

This is a stunning, incredibly sparkling example of the classic adamite mineral specimens that came out of the Ojuela Mine when I was a young collector in the mid-1980s and were contemporary classics even at that time - and almost never seen in this ultimate quality, today. The quality has simply not been seen since, despite numerous later finds. This is the best green-apple color, the deep color saturation, the best luster, and a gorgeous shape to the specimen, combined with lack of damage and the beautiful elegant shape. The balls are 1-2 cm, and the doublet is 2.5 cm across. It is just a phenomenal miniature. As a bonus, note the strong fluorescence under SW and LW ultraviolet light. We value this very highly, at least $2000-2500. Specimens of adamite are available - but not like this. It is so much better than photos can indicate, as well. This is one of the choice miniatures from those old days.
