Adamite (green and purple crystals) with Austinite (excellent rare classic material)

A very rare combination / association specimen featuring Adamite with Austinite from the world famous Ojuela Mine in Mexico. Several years ago, there was a discovery of Cuprian Adamite with Cuprian Austinite from this historic locality, but those crystals were blue and green respectively. In my experience, to find the traditional green / yellow examples of the species together from this mine is incredibly rare. The Adamite crystals are rather large for the locality with notably thick / broad faces along with superb glistening luster and excellent sharpness. Now most of the Adamite crystals are a greenish-yellow color, but there are areas of a gorgeous purple (Manganoan) hue, which just pushes the rarity level up another notch. The Austinite sphere can be seen on the right side of the specimen, and is fine quality, undamaged and measures 1.2 cm across. The largest Adamite measures 1.7 cm long. No damage that I can see with the naked eye and it's just as attractive in person as it is in the photos. A must have for any collector of Mexican minerals, secondary ore minerals, worldwide Adamites or specifically minerals from the Ojuela Mine. This is a fantastic specimen of this classic material from this world-famous locale. Virtually impossible to find on the market today. Priced at $4,000 in the inventory.
