Item Description
A striking, excellent and sculptural adamite specimen from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Clusters of very glassy, straw-yellow adamite crystals have beautiful, gem, honey-colored, textbook chisel terminations and are starkly contrasted by the numerous and uncommon metallic-gray goethite botryoids. The curved vug set atop the sturdy gossan matrix really adds dramatic presence to this aesthetic combination example from the famed Mina Ojuela. The adamites preferentially fluoresce bright to modest neon-green. Very interesting! The piece displays beautifully without aid.
