Item Description
Scintillating, glassy, lime-green, spherical aggregates of adamite crystals line a scultpural vug and gossan matrix on this showy and very rich example from the famous Mina Ojuela. Classic and excellent older material, probably from the major 1960s finds from the Dave Stoudt Collection. Interesting variable fluorescence. The adamite periphery wear around the vug has intense lime-green fluorescence, while the botryoids are much more muted.
