Item Description
Highly prized in most collections, classic Adamite from the Ojuela Mine often occurs in blocky to elongated orthorhombic blades. Individual, or clustered as we have here, the super-bright, yellow-green Adamites cover the Limonite matrix in clusters up to 1.8 cm across. Naturally, the Adamite has the classic, neon-green fluorescence that is one signature characteristics of yellow Adamites. This is a fine, highly representative small cabinet piece, and was formerly in the Eugene Carmichael collection. ex George Elling Collection.
