Item Description

A classic example of the famous Adamites from the Ojuela Mine, specifically from the San Judas Chimney as stated on the label. This piece features hundreds of small, glistening, attractive, highly lustrous, yellow-green colored crystals of Adamite which are intergrown to form semi-radial and partial "pinwheel"-esque groups on contrasting reddish-brown Limonite matrix. The largest group of Adamite crystals measures about 1.0 cm, but the best groups are viewed up close with magnification. You can see excellent textbook Adamite crystals on this one and the specific locality makes it all the more desirable in terms of filling a hole in your Mexican mineral collection.
