Item Description

Adamite is a well-known secondary zinc arsenate minerals, and most people would agree that the finest examples ever found are those from the renowned Ojuela Mine in Mexico. These iconic Adamites are incredibly beautiful for their excellent color, quality and crystallization. This particular specimen features excellent "fan"-shaped groups and "bow ties" of fine quality, lustrous, gentle yellow colored Adamite measuring up to 1.1 cm across on Limonite matrix. The piece shows an intense green fluorescence under SW UV light. This is a showy miniature size specimen, with no major damage that I can find.
