Item Description

One of the most classic localities for Adamite in the world is the Ojuela Mine in Mexico. This material is some of the most beautiful and recognizable for the species. This particular specimen features attractive "pinwheel"-habit groups comprising bright, lustrous, yellow-green, "wedge"-shaped crystals of Adamite with minor attached gossan matrix. The edges are contacted where the piece was separated from the pocket wall, but some of the central crystals are in good condition. A nice reference example of this well-known material.
