You have seen lots of Mapimi Adamites, mostly the whorls of fanned crystals or druses, but it is rare to see crystals such as this. These yellow-green Adamites crystals are blocky and equant, and gemmier than they first appear. They range up to 6 mm, and the luster ranges from waxy to good. The Adamites richly cover two stalactitic knobs of limonite matrix, which is interesting and not commonly seen. Originally priced at $400, this is an unusual and interesting piece representing a famous species from a famous locality.
