Item Description
An exceptional, large and rich actinolite specimen from this well-known Washington locale. Lustrous, sharp, prismatic, dark green crystals with lighter green banding form a visually dramatic jackstraw plate. The impressive large crystal is 10.0 cm. All of the terminations were contacted against the walls of the vug, common for the locality. This locality produces some of the largest and finest US actinolite crystals. Self-collected by Karl Faddis (a Seattle-area native collector).
