Item Description

Densely intergrown highly lustrous sections of green to black actinolite prisms solidly comprise this very rich two sided specimen from this noted old locale. Probably from the well-known and extinct soapstone and talc Carlton Quarry, which started in about 1894. Ex Paterson Museum Collection. The 29 mm Foote label on the back dates to the late 1800s to early 1900s. Seldom on the market in this richness and quality. A must for the locality or species collector.
