Item Description

This is certainly one of the very best of the Namibian actinolites that I have seen, by a long stretch. This striking parallel-growth crystal cluster has highly lustrous, deep-green, beautifully-striated faces. The striking fibrous and silvery terminations, with an oxide coating, have helped make these classics in their own right. This impressive large crystal is 8.5 cm and is pristine. An excellent and aesthetic actinolite, unusual for such a normally boring rock-forming species. Ex Charlie Key Collection.
