Actinolite (ex Van Tichelen and Charlie Key)

This is certainly a rarity to fine such well-crystallized Actinolite from any locality, let alone an isolated occurrence in Namibia. These specimens came out of Charlie Key's collection, and this particular piece was once part of Wouter Van Tichelen's collection. It features sharp, lustrous, well-formed, prismatic dark green crystals with notably "fibrous" soft silvery-green zoning on the terminations. Hard to find and really eye-catching. The largest crystal measures 3.1 cm. You honestly don't see Actinolite like this on the market.
