Acanthites from the famous Rayas Mine are some of the best around and this is a very aesthetic thumbnail example. Splendent, blocky, parallel-growth, acanthite crystals run the crest of this cutie. Little clusters of glassy, dogtooth calcite crystals are a super accent. This superb thumb looks great from either side, although one side has bruising. Classic, older material from this historic mine.
