Acanthite (Stoudt Coll.)

Item Description

Splendent, stacked, intergrown, highly lustrous, metallic-gray acanthite crystals form a very sculptural thumbnail from early-2000s finds at the famous Rayas Mine at Guanajuato, Mexico. A large, 1.0 cm cube is the crowning glory of this showy piece. All of the crystals are strongly hoppered with scattered skeletal features and stepped-growth faces add much character.
