Item Description
A very rare and aesthetic, pseudomorph thumbnail from this classic Mexican locale. Pyrargyrite is extremely rare from this well-known mine, that is on the same vein as the famed Rayas Mine. Sparkly, dark gray, corroded-looking acanthite has pseudomorphed two sharp, hexagonal, pyrargyrite crystals. The "tower" is equant, while the side car pseudo is flattened. Both crystals have hoppered terminations. Flattened, micro calcite rhombs preferentially deposited on the pseudos are a nifty and colorful compliment. This is a "killer" and nearly unique pseudo from this locale. Valued $500-750
