Item Description
This is an exceptionally sharp specimen, a full thumbnail with perfect cubic symmetry, from the old silver mining district around Freiberg, in Saxony. Old, probably from the 1800s or early 1900s at latest. Such specimens are fairly rare, especially in this kind of quality and aesthetic as a thumbnail for display. This fine specimen is from the competitive thumbnail collection of Bill and Sharon Panczner, collected from the 1960s. The TN suite was assembled mostly in the 1960s through the early 1980s.
