Item Description

A sculptural small cabinet of stacked pseudo-octahedral acanthite crystals from the circa 2004 finds at this well-known open pit and underground silver mine. The nubby, moderately lustrous, matte-finish crystal have a distinctive etched look. The large octo at the top is 2.5 cm and this artistic 360-degree piece has a humanoid look to it. The two large octos at the top look like elongated helmets with weird adornments! Fairly common 10 years ago, but scarce today, with no new supplies forthcoming. Valued at $750-1000.
