Acanthite (circa 2004 finds)

Item Description

These two stacked clusters of acanthite octahedrons look like large and small metallic-gray pine trees! The crystals are moderately lustrous and etched/hoppered and come from the circa 2004 finds at the Imiter Mine. The octos reach 1.3 cm on this visual 360-degree piece. Fairly common 10 years ago, but scarce today, with no new supplies forthcoming. Valued at $750-1000.
