Item Description

A beautiful and rich silver ore combination specimen from the famous Rayas Mine at Guanajuato, Mexico. Sparkly, golden-yellow bright Chalcopyrite microcrystals cover matrix of essentially solid, bladed Polybasite which has been coated or replaced (pseudomorphed?) by Acanthite crystals. A few minor Quartz crystals can be seen on the back. Good quality for the locality and very attractive in person. Classic material for the locality.
