Here is an aesthetic small cabinet example of Acanthite from the major Moroccan find from 2005 at the Imiter Mine. This dignified piece consists of a series of three, elongate, stacked, pagoda-like clusters of charcoal gray Acanthite consisting of at least a dozen crystals each on a foundation of crystalline Acanthite! The octahedral crystals are distinct and range from a few millimeters up to 1.1 cm in size with the stacked clusters forming a trident shape on the larger crystals of Acanthite on the base. It is a stately cluster for the species that is assembled vertically upward for great presentation and aesthetics that looks fabulous front and back! At the time these started coming out, something like this would have sold for $5000 or so. Easily. More came out, and indeed they were plentiful, for a while. However, they are not often found on the market today in this size and quality, certainly not for auction.
