Item Description
Topazolite garnets are RARE from Piedra Parada compared to the excellent Amethsyt specimens the locale is famous for. Gemmy to translucent greenish-yellow, sharp crystals are richly and aesthetically set on the sculptural small cabinet matrix. The glassy dodecahedrons reach 1.6 cm. Topazolite is a variety of Andradite Garnet resembling Topaz in color and tranparency. All of the many primary crystals are pristine and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction this very showy, excellent and rare example.
