Item Description

A highly desirable, gemmy golden-amber, 5.5 cm calcite scalenohedron is dramatically set on the blocky large ruby jack sphalerite matrix. The striking complex calcite has multiple faces and the crystal is twinned. Scattered clusters of baryte blades on the splendent jet-black twinned sphalerite crystals with flashes of ruby jack color are typical accessories and fine complements. This fine calcite is complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only trivial termination bruising. A classic and impressive large calcite combination from the famous Elmwood Mine.
