Item Description
Classic and beautiful creedite from the famous mid-1980s finds in the West Camp at Santa Eulalia. Gorgeous, gem, light lavender, sharply terminated prisms are aesthetically clustered on the blocky sulfide ore matrix. The striking large isolated compound crystal is 1.4 cm. Specimens from these finds are among the finest examples in the world for the species with deep purple crystals reaching an astonishing 8.0 cm. Creedite is a relatively rare compound Halide. Scattered broken crystals are noted. This remains a showy, highly representative small cabinet example of the desirable species from the famous find. Seldom on the market today.
