Item Description

Sculptural, coral-like, orbicular, pretty variable blue Shattuckite accented with areas of blue-green Chrysocolla and a black pod of possible Tenorite (?) on this sculptural and showy large two-sided polished slab from recent finds at the Rancho Jacalito prospect, near the famous Milpillas Mine. This is one of the larger and finer examples we saw at Tucson 2022. Material from this obscure locale started showing up on the market in 2019 and could be used for lapidary arts. Mass is 233 grams.
