Item Description
A stunning sharp, 5.3 x 4.0 x 0.8 cm, silvery pearlescent laminated muscovite spearpoint is dramatically and beautifully set on the sculptural feldspar and quartz matrix with schorl sections. This exceptional specimen is from one of the many historic extinct pegmatites on the Piona Peninsula of beautiful Lake Como. See: https://www.mindat.org/loc-264804.html. Muscovite is a very common species, but this is a superlative, artistic and very uncommon small cabinet matrix example from the famous locale.
