Item Description
Fabulous deep blue color and superb geometry on this stunning 2.0 cm spray of stalactitic-like sharp pentagonite blades from recent finds at the famous Wagholi Quarries. The spray is dramatically and artistically set in the undulating vug lined with starkly contrasting snow-white Mordenite on the well-prepared sawed basalt matrix. Easily the world's finest examples of this RARE silicate come from Wagholi and this is a very fine small cabinet combination example. Pentagonite is the dimorph of Cavansite and this would make a fine complement to the below listed Pentagonite specimen.
