Item Description
Sculptural, rich and showy large vanadinite from the world's best locality for the species. Glassy, gemmy/translucent, orangey-red, textbook hexagonal prisms, to 1.2 cm, are artistically, densely concentrated along the edges of the matrix. The primary crystal cluster at the top of the piece really sets the piece off and is a striking highlight. The vannies glow with yellow-orange fire, when backlit. A fine two-sided specimen, the crystals on the back have an oxide coating, typical of many pieces of this varietal. Pristine, for all the crystal density. Classic and aesthetic Mibladen vanadinite of this varietal.
